artsy antsy

Like a child wide-eyed with excitement over a ride or looking forward to play with friends on a warm summer day, I am giddy with joy and excitement for tomorrow’s DC Art Exhibit.  It’s my first exhibit as a level teacher and I can’t wait to see the reaction of the parents when they get to see what the kids did.  Okay, some artworks are quite “challenging” to look at but it’s amazing how some mounting there and some accessorizing here and there can transform a thing that looks wacky by itself to one that’s truly a work of art.

What’s more, it was a blessing to work with this year’s Nursery team along with T. Ching who helped us put up some of the artwork and decorate the Nursery classroom.  So Jazz, we’ll be posting some pix as requested.  We miss you!
